Trident’s UltraJet® II 96 P

The UJ2 96 printhead prints images up to 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) tall with a single printhead with all the rugged design and reliable performance that made the UltraJet II printhead family famous.

Substrates/Applications:

Mailing, addressing, financial, product marking and coding
Print directly on a range of substrates, including corrugated or other porous substrates, eliminating the need for costly labels

Print Characteristics:

Micro-droplets of ink ejected at frequencies of up to 15,000 drops per second.
Printing speeds of up to 1,250 feet/minute (381 meters/minute).
Print orientation: up, down, sideways

Large Ink Supply System (LISS) with level detection.

Closed-Loop compatible:

The UltraJet II 96 can be used with Trident's Closed-Loop Ink supply subsystem.  This feature allows easy re-priming with reduced ink waste and operator intervention.

Automatic Maintenance ModuleÔ (AMMÔ):

Certain models of the Ultrajet II 96 printhead are outfitted with Trident's AMM faceplate and integrated vacuum lines.  UltraJet II printheads with AMM can automatically prime and clean the face of the printhead without operator intervention.

up to 72 inches (1.8 m)
