AlphaCoder® Printhead

Designed for Alphanumeric printing the AlphaCoder printhead is an ideal alternative to old valvejet printers.  The AlphaCoder printhead offers the reliability of Trident's piezoelectric inkjet technology along with a low cost package which makes it an ideal entry level printhead for industrial printing customers.

The AlphaCoder printhead prints images up to 1.9 inches (48.3 mm) tall with a single printhead with all the rugged design and reliable performance that made the Trident's industrial inkjet technology famous.

Print Characteristics:

• Micro-droplets of ink ejected at frequencies of up to 7,500 drops per second.
• Printing speeds of up to 200 feet/minute (61 meters/minute).
• Print orientation: Sideways.

Large Ink Supply System (LISS) with level detection.

Closed-Loop compatible:
The AlphaCoder can be used with Trident's Closed-Loop Ink supply subsystem.  This feature allows easy re-priming with reduced ink waste and operator intervention.

Automatic Maintenance Module (AMM):
Trident's AlphaCoder is NOT AMM compatible.
