FabricFast™ ULTRA Textile Ink

Trident's FabricFast™ ULTRA ink is a pigmented, water-based ink for digital textile printing using Epson-based piezo inkjet printers.

Direct to [untreated] Fabric:
FabricFast inks are able to print directly on 100% untreated fabrics, including cotton, polyester and more.

Trident’s FabricFast ULTRA ink is the new way to think inkjet ink. It is a pigmented water-based ink compatible with most of today’s Epson-based color textile digital printers. FabricFast revolutionizes designing, sampling, and short run textile printing by offering digital ink jet print capability on a wide range of fabrics – including cotton.

The specially formulated ink provides the soft hand of dye-based inks with the wash fastness and light fastness of pigmented inks, all in an ecologically friendly water-base.

Color Gamut:
Digitial Textile Printing would be of limited use to anyone if the color range was not comparable to existing (analog) printing.  Trident's FabricFast ink offers 11 colors for a wide color gamut as well as the capability of spot colors should need arise.  Click on the links to the right for more information on FabricFast Ultra Inks.

Color Vividness with Reliability
These pigment inks are in their third formulation. Each reformulation we have focused on maximizing the pigment loading while maintaining reliability of the ink jet printheads.  No clogging - printhead clogging is not an acceptable ink property!

Fastness
We used textile binders that are activated when heat cured for optimal pigment binding. We feel we have the best washfastness, lightfastness and crockfastness of any pigment ink on the market.

Ink Jet Knowledge
Trident has more than 25 years experience with ink jet printheads. We know ink jet printheads! Other ink manufacturers may have ink formulation skills, but without ink jet printhead knowledge they are simply hoping for printhead reliability.
