Brookfield, CT. (June 24, 2004) – Trident will introduce FabricFastTM, a new pigmented water-based ink for Epson textile ink jet printers, at the American Textile Machinery Exhibition International (ATME-I), booth A-127, September 13-17, Greenville, South Carolina.
FabricFast revolutionizes designing, sampling, and short run textile printing by offering digital ink jet print capability on a wide range of fabrics – including cotton. The specially formulated ink provides the soft hand of dye-based inks with the wash fastness and light fastness of pigmented inks, all in an ecologically friendly water-base.
FabricFast can be used in any color textile digital printer using the Epson piezoelectric inkjet printhead. These include Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh, and Stork printers. It can be used on cotton, cotton / polyester, nylon, rayon & silk with simplified heat fixation of 150 °C for 2.5 minutes.
Steve Liker, Director of Marketing at Trident, will be speaking on new developments in digital textile printing on Thursday, September 16th as part of ATME-I’s Concept 2 Consumer (C2C) conference program. Mr. Liker’s speech will focus on innovative digital ink jet technologies, resolution requirements, increased print throughput capabilities, and on bridging the performance gap between ink jet textile inks and screen pastes.
