Digital Fabrication with Inkjet

Trident’s industrial piezo inkjet printheads are ideally suited for fabrication of solar panels, Flat Panel Displays (FPD), printed circuit boards, sensor, backplanes, TFT transistors, batteries, photovoltaics and other printed organic and inorganic electronics.

Trident’s robust, inert, serviceable 256Jet-D printhead can be used for jetting desirable materials for fabrication such as PET and PVP dielectrics, PQT and Pentacene semiconductors, Nanotubes, ITO, Pedot:PSS, Silver and inorganic particles.

Resist patterning:
Trident is one of the originators of hot melt inkjet printing in the early 1980’s.  By increasing the operating temperature of our printhead hot melt resist inks with varying acid and alkali resistant hot melt inks can be patterned onto the substrate. Development Tools

The partnership between Trident and Xennia has produced the XenJet 4000T inkjet dispenser which leverages the advantages of Trident printheads with a high precision 3-axis printer for accurate functional materials dispensing.
